Its not about creating the base sounds like you would do with other synths, though it CAN do basic subtractive stuff with nice filter models - but rather it requires orchestrating various sounds together into combinations that work in music.

Currently have an original Wavestation, a Minibrute, and an Elektron Analog Keys. Wavestate kind of sits in the zone between sound design and music composition.
