KORG wavestate WAVE SEQUENCING SYNTHESIZER Legendary synthesis, radically re-imagined. And I'll be giving up the Elektron sequencer. But it seems silly to buy a wave-sequencing synth if I don't need wave-sequencing. SO - I was thinking of getting a Wavestate and a Minitaur and calling it a day.
Ultimately I need piano sounds, and strings would be nice as well, but I also need some deep Moogy bass and some industrial leads. The wave sequencing aspect of the Wavestate doesn't really interest me that much to be honest, but I think the samples sound pretty good and I like the blending with the joystick. I'm no synth master, and I can't really get many good sounds out of the Elektron. Poite si KORG Opsix (rozbalené) u nejvtího prodejce hudebních nástroj. Mostly using the Wavestation for orchestral/piano sounds and some leads, the Minibrute for bass, and the Elektron 'm not sure yet. Its not about creating the base sounds like you would do with other synths, though it CAN do basic subtractive stuff with nice filter models - but rather it requires orchestrating various sounds together into combinations that work in music.
Currently have an original Wavestation, a Minibrute, and an Elektron Analog Keys. Wavestate kind of sits in the zone between sound design and music composition.
